The Future of Michie Stadium is Here
On September 4, West Point celebrated the dedication of the Michie Stadium Preservation Project with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking a transformational moment for one of the Academy’s most important landmarks. The generosity of the Long Gray Line, combined with WPAOG’s partnership with Army West Point Athletics and the Academy, helped make this historic project possible.

Cadets Explore Their Future During Branch Week
During Branch Week, cadets explored the Army’s 16 branches and gained a closer look at the many paths available after graduation. Through static displays and conversations with officers and NCOs, cadets learned about each branch’s mission and opportunities. Upper-class cadets also met with representatives from their top branch choices.

From Darkness to the Light
On September 8, graduates and members of the West Point community joined WPAOG for “From Darkness to the Light,” recognizing the 988 helpline and suicide prevention awareness through sunrise walks, hikes, runs, and moments of reflection. Participants at Herbert Alumni Center and across the country began in darkness and ended in the light—a powerful reminder that You Are Not Alone.

Join Our Huddle Up & HOOAH! Tailgate Party
Celebrate Mardi Gras early at the Herbert Alumni Center before Army takes on Tulane October 10. West Point families, graduates, and fans are invited to enjoy food, games, and fun for all ages, plus a spirited “Hullabaloo vs. HOOAH!” Chant Challenge. The tailgate begins four hours before kickoff and is open to all Army fans. Traveling with the Black Knights? Look for WPAOG spirit events at select away games, too.
