Congratulations to the families and friends of the Class of 2026 as they approach the final milestone of their 47-month experience at West Point. As a reminder, several traffic and parking restrictions will be enforced on May 23 so please allow additional travel time when coming to West Point and driving on and around the Installation.

  West Point Cadets Earn National Scholarships and Fellowships
   

Cadets from the Classes of 2026 and 2027 have been selected for prestigious opportunities, including the Knight-Hennessy Scholarship, Truman Scholarship, Hertz Fellowship, and National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowship. Their achievements highlight academic excellence, leadership, service, and purpose cultivated at West Point and supported through programs such as the Brigadier General Peter M. Dawkins 1959 Scholars Program and Technical Scholars Program, made possible by private support. Read more.

Sandhurst Teams USMA Black and Gold Dominate!

  USMA Black and Gold Earn Top Finishes at Sandhurst 2026
   

At the 2026 Sandhurst Military Skills Competition, USMA teams claimed the top two spots, with the Black Team winning overall and the Gold Team finishing second among 48 teams. Cadets endured two days of intense physical and mental challenges, including ruck marches, obstacle courses, weapons ranges, and tactical exercises. Read more.

On May 19, we welcomed the Class of 2026 to the Herbert Alumni Center for an unforgettable evening leading up to graduation. The 90-degree weather did not squelch the celebration. Cadets shared food, drinks, lawn games, and meaningful moments alongside their 50-Year Affiliates, the Class of 1976. West Point Challenge 2026

  2026 West Point Challenge
   

Thank you to all the parents and friends who participated in the 2026 Challenge and encouraged others to join! With gifts totaling $6.3 million, every part of West Point and the lives of 4,400 cadets will be impacted! 368 different funds received Margin of Excellence gifts from 15,300 donors. Congratulations to the Class of 1977 who had the highest active class participation and 1997 who had the most donors. The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Crew Team, Men’s Lacrosse Team, and Company I-3 leaned in and took the top spots in our academic, club, athletic, and cadet company leaderboards.
