West Point Celebrates 220th Founders Day
On March 16, 1802, President Thomas Jefferson signed legislation founding the United States Military Academy, creating one of the oldest military service academies in the world. Throughout March, West Point Societies across the globe are celebrating the founding of our Rockbound Highland Home. Class of 2025 Unveils Class Crest
The Class of 2025 crest unveiling occurred in the Mess Hall during the Plebe Parent Banquet on March 5, with nearly 2,000 parents and guests in attendance. Class officers explained the crest's intricate details and symbology, which will represent their class in perpetuity. Four members of the 50-Year-Affiliate Class of 1975 attended the event and presented the Class of 2025 with a framed copy of the ’75 crest, from which they drew significant inspiration for their design. The 50-Year Affiliates in attendance were: Dr. William F. Crain, COL (R) Thomas R. Noreen, COL (R) Richard A. Hoefert, and COL (R) John M. Uhorchak. Read more.

From May 1-5, 2022, the West Point Challenge (WPC) will take the place of the All Academy Challenge and will now allow former cadets, friends, surviving spouses, and parents to join in on the fun and competition. The mission is the same—support your class, favorite department, sports team, club, and/or program during the five-day period. This year, we also invite you to become a #WestPointChallenge Ambassador. West Point Challenge Ambassadors help create excitement about the WPC both before and during the challenge—not only by making a personal gift but also by encouraging others to get involved. Fall Sports Place 48 on Patriot League Honor Roll
The Army West Point Department of Athletics landed 48 spots on the Patriot League’s 2021-22 Fall Academic Honor Roll. Each of the department’s five teams that competed in the Patriot League in the fall of 2021 placed cadet-athletes onto the list, which celebrates students for their outstanding dedication to academic excellence. Students must have a minimum 3.20 GPA from the fall 2021 semester to be eligible. This fall’s honor roll is comprised of 583 women across four sports and 514 men recognized in three sports.
