Congratulations to this year’s Henry O. Flipper Award recipient CDT Teryon Lowery ’24. Since 1977, the award has been given to a firstie who has demonstrated the highest qualities of leadership, self-discipline, and perseverance in the face of adversity. It celebrates the legacy and service of Henry Ossian Flipper, the first African American graduate of USMA, Class of 1877. Read more.

Bloomberg Supports Technical Scholars Program
Bloomberg Philanthropies kicked off the expansion of the West Point Technical Scholars Program (TSP) made possible by their generous Margin of Excellence support. The event, held at Bloomberg Philanthropies’ NYC offices, was attended by Michael Bloomberg, Superintendent LTG Steve Gilland ’90, Julie Samuels, President and Executive Director of Tech:NYC, WPAOG leaders, and TSP cadets. Basketball and Wrestling Sing Second
Congratulations to the Army West Point Women’s and Men’s Basketball teams for their victories over Navy on February 10 at Christl Arena. This win marks the fifth straight victory over Navy for the women and the first win for the Men’s Basketball and Wrestling teams over Navy since 2020.
