Class of ’72 Endows Wrestling Coach Position

Class of 72 Endows Wrestling
 

Army West Point Wrestling announced that the head coaching position is now titled the Class of 1972 Head Men’s Wrestling Coach. The Class of 1972, through a class gift and individual donations, raised $1 million to name the head wrestling coach position. Head Coach Kevin Ward, hired in 2014, will assume the title of the Class of 1972 Head Men’s Wrestling Coach. Read more.

On February 12, WPAOG hosted a breakfast for the Class of 2027 and 2028 Class Officers in the Black, Gold, and Gray Room in the Mess Hall. The morning created the opportunity for WPAOG to provide support to the cadet class officers as they build their class legacy.

Following in his father’s distinguished military footsteps, BG (R) Jim Warner ’76 had his own inspirational military career. Now, as a 50-Year Affiliate to the Class of 2026, his decision to donate both his and his father’s West Point rings to the Class of 2026’s Ring Melt Ceremony underscores the deep connection his family and the Long Gray Line will share across time.
