Our congratulations to the families and friends of the Class of 2026 as they approach the final milestone of their 47-month experience at West Point. As a reminder, several traffic and parking restrictions will be enforced on May 23, so please allow additional travel time when coming to West Point and driving on and around the Installation. Event details. Watch graduation live.

Cadet Excellence on Display at the Research Symposium & Sandhurst Competition

On April 22-23, the Projects Day Research Symposium will spotlight the Academy’s commitment to supporting the warfighter. More than 860 cadets and 350 projects from all 13 academic departments, faculty, and partners showcase innovative research and creative solutions. Soon after, on May 1-2, West Point hosts the Sandhurst Military Skills Competition, featuring elite teams from West Point, Army ROTC, other service academies, and international participants, all demonstrating teamwork, grit, and tactical skill in pursuit of military excellence.

Cadets from the Class of 2029 welcomed family and friends to West Point during Plebe-Parent Weekend, March 26-28, marking a key milestone in their first year. A centerpiece of the weekend was the unveiling of the Class of 2029 crest, featuring the motto “Hold the Line” symbolizing resilience, transformation, and commitment to Duty, Honor, Country. Supported by their 50-year affiliates from the Class of 1979, cadets celebrated their progress and connection to the Long Gray Line. Read more. 

West Point Cyber Participated in National Cyber Competition

The West Point Cyber Team placed third overall at the Department of Defense CIO Cyber Workforce Competition. The event simulated real-world offensive cyber operations, challenging cadets to adapt quickly and collaborate under pressure. Alongside a strong performance, the competition provided valuable insight into future training priorities—reinforcing West Point’s commitment to developing agile, technically proficient leaders prepared for the modern battlefield. Hudson Valley Program Brings New Businesses to Highland Falls

Through the Hudson Valley Economic Development Initiative, WPAOG’s Hudson Valley Program has helped four businesses open in Highland Falls—including Park Restaurant, Westy’s, Annie’s Attic, and Bean & Barrel.
