WPAOG Hosts Latest CONNECT Event for Highland Falls Students
On March 16, local students participated in the latest CONNECT after school event. A partnership between WPAOG and Highland Falls Intermediate School (HFIS), CONNECT hosted USMA cadets and officers from the Center for Leadership and Diversity in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) who led students in learning about and operating robots. The students quickly developed enough ability to maneuver robots through challenging obstacles and mazes while cadets skillfully taught, mentored, and organized. Call for West Point Challenge Ambassadors!
From May 1-5, 2022, the West Point Challenge (WPC) will take the place of the All Academy Challenge and will now allow former cadets, friends, surviving spouses, and parents to join in on the fun and competition. The mission is the same—support your class, favorite department, sports team, club, and/or program during the five-day period. This year, we invite you to become a West Point Challenge Ambassador. West Point Challenge Ambassadors help create excitement about the WPC both before and during the challenge—not only by making a personal gift but also by encouraging others to get involved. Ambassadors who secure three donors (themselves and two others) through their Custom Giving Link will receive an exclusive pair of Army “A” socks! All you need is You + 2! Learn more.
