Thank You for Sharing Your Perspective

  WPAOG Crest

Thank you to the thousands of graduates who shared their feedback on the 2026 WPAOG Graduate Survey from June 29 to July 15. Your perspectives will help WPAOG better understand the evolving needs of the Long Gray Line and strengthen how we serve, communicate with, and connect graduates to one another and to West Point. Initial findings will be presented during the upcoming Leaders Conference, and additional results and insights will be shared on the WPAOG website in the months ahead. Your participation helps advance our mission and supports our vision of an engaged, connected, and enduring Long Gray Line.

West Point Glee Club alumni raised their voices together during a four-day reunion July 16–19, celebrating the friendships, traditions, and music that have connected generations of singers since the club’s founding in 1903. Seventy-one alumni singers were joined by family members and guests, bringing total reunion attendance to 133. From receptions, a banquet, and special rehearsals and performances, the weekend was memorable.

Swarm Trooper Research Advances Landmine Detection

West Point Swarm Trooper Research Advances Landmine Detection

As unmanned aerial vehicles increasingly shape modern warfare, a team of West Point cadets explored the cutting edge of autonomous systems through the Swarm Troopers research project in preparation for this year’s Projects Day Research Symposium. Their research aims to use drones to conduct intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance to determine the location of mines with acute accuracy.

Hudson Valley Program Welcomes New Cadets

Hudson Valley Program Welcomes New Cadets

This summer, our very own Hudson Valley Program partnered with the Highland Falls Chamber of Commerce at the WPAOG Pre R-Day Ice Cream Social to welcome new cadet families and introduce them to our local businesses and eateries. As downtown continues to grow, we're excited to celebrate milestones like Westy's expanding to lunch service and new community programming, and Bean & Barrel now welcoming guests seven days a week. We encourage alumni returning to West Point to spend some time downtown and support the local businesses that are helping to strengthen the community that has supported the Academy for generations.
