Truman Scholar
Congratulations to CDT Martayn Van de Wall ’24 who is one of 62 Truman Scholars selected from 705 candidates nominated by 275 colleges and universities, a record number of applicants. We Remember
Annually, the Department of History’s Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies travels with plebes to the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC. Recently, cadets attended the Joint Service Academies Mass Atrocity Prevention Symposium at the museum, where they shared original research on issues related to the Holocaust, genocide, and mass atrocity prevention with an audience of their peers. Special Olympics
Approximately 500 athletes from the Hudson Valley, New York City, Long Island and the Capital Region competed in swimming, track & field, and powerlifting events at Shea Stadium and Arvin Gymnasium. The Spring Games were led by the cadets and officers from the Dept. of Behavioral Sciences & Leadership and Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society and supported by organizations across West Point. Sing Second!
#15 Women’s Lacrosse earned a Star as CDT Allison Reilly ’26 had a legendary performance setting new single-game program records with nine goals scored and 12 points altogether with her three assists as the team pushed past #23 Navy in the Star Series Matchup with a 15 to 11 win. Baseball defeated the Midshipmen after a double header, winning the Star for the second consecutive season and for the first time at Max Bishop Stadium since 2019 while at the same time increasing their win streak to 15 games. #9/21 Men’s Lacrosse dominated Navy in an 11-6 victory to earn a Star. The win also sets up a winner take all match on Friday night at Michie Stadium against BU. The winner will clinch the regular season title and the right to host the Patriot League Tournament.

WPAOG welcomed First Class Cadets at Herbert Alumni Center for WPAOG's First Class Social. The Firstie Social provides an opportunity for firsties to socialize, meet the WPAOG team, and learn about the WPAOG mission to serve cadets, graduates, and the Long Gray Line.
