Best Sapper Competition
CPTs Matt Cushing ’17 and teammate Joseph Palazini recently won this year’s 17th LTG Robert B. Flowers Best Sapper Competition. Cushing and Palazini made history not only as the first team to win the competition twice, but also back-to-back. CDTs Samuel Dickerson ’25 and Isaiah McNeilly ’25 finished in third place. Read more.

Cooper ’23 Crowned Miss Michigan
On April 21, donning her West Point Class of 2023 ring, 2LT Alma Cooper was crowned Miss Michigan 2024. Cooper, who’s currently studying at Stanford as a Knights-Hennessy Scholar, will compete for Miss USA in August. Read more.

Winski ’20 Joins List of Best Rangers
On April 14, and the 40th anniversary of the Army’s Best Ranger Competition, the team sporting No. 40 took home the top prize. 1LT Andrew Winski joins other West Point graduates who have won this grueling competition including Edward Garcia ’89, Michael Trisler ’90, Liam Collins ’92, and Corbett McCallum ’98. Parachute Team Places First at ISAM
The Army West Point Parachute Team hosted the Air Force Academy and Naval Academy Parachute Teams for the annual Inter-Service Academy Meet (ISAM) April 19-20 on The Plain. During the practice runs, Britian’s Royal Navy Skydiving Team joined the teams. Read more.
