West Point Class of 2021 1LT Griffin Hokanson and 1LT Kevin Moore from the 75th Ranger Regiment won the U.S. Army’s 2025 Best Ranger Competition. Their classmate, 1LT Gabrielle White, and her teammate, CPT Seth Deltenre, finished 14th out of the 52 competing teams, making White the first woman Ranger to complete the three-day challenge. At 106 years old, COL (R) Herb Stern ’41, West Point’s Oldest Living Graduate, continues to embody the spirit of the Long Gray Line. On March 10, he gathered with over 100 fellow graduates and guests at his retirement home in Virginia to celebrate Founders Day.
