On April 23, the Projects Day Research Symposium will spotlight the Academy’s commitment to supporting the warfighter. More than 860 cadets and 350 projects from all 13 academic departments, faculty, and partners showcase innovative research and creative solutions. Soon after, on May 1-2, West Point hosts the Sandhurst Military Skills Competition, featuring elite teams from West Point, Army ROTC, other service academies, and international participants, all demonstrating teamwork, grit, and tactical skill in pursuit of military excellence.

The West Point Class of 1996 presented its 30th Reunion Gift at the Army vs. Navy Lacrosse game on April 11. Joining them on the field in appreciation of their support was Angela Oakley, Vice President of Development of the West Point Association of Graduates. USMA graduates have a long tradition of giving back to West Point. The goal of the Class Giving program is to promote philanthropy and provide classes with an opportunity to leave their legacy at their Rockbound Highland Home. Read more.

The West Point Society of Pikes Peak brought together generations of the Long Gray Line to celebrate its annual Founders Day in March, an event that honors the enduring legacy of the U.S. Military Academy, while highlighting the shared experiences that unite graduates across decades. Held in Colorado Springs, the evening blended tradition, reflection, and camaraderie—with remarks from the youngest graduate in attendance, 2LT Sidoni Adarkwah ’25. Read more.

West Point graduates and cadets headed to Armor units, gathered in March to honor their patron saint, Saint George, an annual tradition upheld by the West Point Chapter of the U.S. Cavalry and Armor Association. The Saint George Banquet is an opportunity to both honor those who have served the Cavalry and Armor branch, as well as introduce the culture, customs, and traditions of the branch to the future Armor leaders in attendance and welcome them to the Combat Arm of Decision.
