Call for Nominations for Elections
In 2023, the WPAOG Nominating Committee will nominate graduates for five Director positions and six Advisor-at-Large positions. To apply for a nomination, please see the instructions posted on the WPAOG website. Submit your completed applications by July 1. The 2023 election process will conclude on November 14 at 5pm EST, at the Annual Meeting of the Association of Graduates at Herbert Alumni Center. Cadets Learn from the LGL at MITRE and Capital One
WPAOG is supporting a capstone team this year that will present their work on Projects Day in May. Members of the team took a trip to MITRE and Capital One to further explore analytics and systems engineering in application before finalizing their project. CDTs Jacob Sayers ’23, Victorea Sangvic ‘23, and Henry Jensen ‘23 had the opportunity to network with Old Grads Rand Donaldson ’86 from MITRE, and Jeff Dietz ’98, Carl Ciovacco ’00, and Christopher Kane ’01 at Capital One.

MCLC
West Point hosted West Point undergraduate students for the annual McDonald Conference for Leaders of Character (MCLC). The conference, made possible by the vision and resources of founding benefactors HON Bob McDonald ’75 and Diane McDonald, provides cadets and attendees from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to take part in team-based experiential and analytical exercises to bolster leadership skills, foster critical thinking and collaboration, and explore strategies to address global issues. Anyone Can Leave A Bequest For West Point
Bequests for West Point may be made to WPAOG; a qualified tax-exempt charity. A charitable bequest is a gift to a charity made at death through a will or trust. You can make a bequest of any size to West Point and direct the gift to support a specific program or left unrestricted to be used at the discretion of the superintendent or WPAOG leadership.
